How it works

Simple for you. Even simpler for whoever finds your things.

FoundYa connects the person who finds your item with you, without either of you needing to share a phone number. Here's how it works on both sides.

Set it up once, and you're covered for years

Open the app

  1. 01

    Get your tags

    Order a pack of tags. Every tag carries its own unique QR code.

  2. 02

    Register them in the app

    Scan the tag with your phone and add it to your FoundYa account. Give it a name, like "House keys".

  3. 03

    Attach them

    Stick or clip the tag on. There's nothing to charge and nothing to update.

  4. 04

    Lost something? Turn on lost mode

    Mark the item as lost in the app and, if you like, offer a reward. Finders will see that you're looking for it.

  5. 05

    Chat and get it back

    You're notified as soon as someone writes. Reply anonymously and agree on how to get your item back.

Found something with a FoundYa tag?

Thank you! Getting it back to its owner takes about a minute.

  1. Scan the code

    Open your phone's camera, point it at the tag and tap the link that appears.

  2. Write a message

    A simple page opens in your browser. No app, no account, no sign-up.

  3. Share only what you want

    Add your location or contact details if you'd like to. Both are optional.

  4. Keep your private link

    You get a private link to come back to the conversation and read the owner's reply.
